About the position

The QA Test Engineer-3 position at Mphasis Corporation involves developing test strategies and plans to ensure the quality of software systems. The role requires collaboration with team members to analyze requirements, prepare test cases, and execute testing using various management tools. The engineer will also be responsible for defect tracking and resolution, as well as coordinating with other teams for system integration and deployment support.

Responsibilities

• Develop Test approach and strategy as per system requirements.
• Develop and prepare Test Plan and Estimation.
• Analyze and prepare test cases for systems testing, integration testing, and User acceptance.
• Provide Test case walkthrough with team members.
• Execute testing using Test Management Tools.
• Configure the test environment and test data per project needs.
• Perform Root cause analysis, Fix defects and Reporting.
• Document software defects, debug, and track bug resolutions efforts.
• Coordinate with other module team members for systems integration and deployment support.

Requirements

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Application, Computer Engineering, Computer Information System, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
