About the position

Procom is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Test Engineer - Senior to join our client's team in Austin, TX. This onsite position focuses on software quality assurance and testing, particularly utilizing automated testing tools and frameworks. The role requires collaboration with a remote team and involves engaging in various software engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery of products while embracing the latest technologies and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and implementation of automated testing technologies.
• Engage in various software engineering projects using advanced development patterns.
• Collaborate with the team in ongoing product testing, including design, development, review, integration, test, and deployment activities.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Proficiency in test automation tools like MABL, Selenium, or Saucelabs.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
• Experience in risk management and assessment in QA processes.
