About the position

The TCQA Tester at Ainsworth Game Technology plays a crucial role in ensuring that Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM) games and related software and hardware comply with industry standards and regulations. This position involves testing, evaluating, and reporting on the functionality of gaming products to prepare them for submission to various gaming jurisdictions. The role requires a blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to collaborate with development teams and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and maintain testbeds for testing activities.
  • Conduct testing activities and report issues related to Technical Compliance.
  • Evaluate Ainsworth product lines against technical regulatory requirements.
  • Follow step-by-step test procedures and document results.
  • Use testing tools and scripts to ensure compliance with operational guidelines.
  • Utilize tracking systems to monitor work allocation and completion.
  • Collaborate with software development teams for correct implementation of games and systems.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and provide input on game rules and concepts.
  • Identify, report, and reproduce game anomalies, working with development teams to resolve them.
  • Liaise with internal technical compliance leadership regarding regulatory submissions and issues.
  • Communicate improvements to processes, procedures, and test scripts.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' experience in a technical role (STEM, School, Work, or Personal).
  • College degree in a related field (i.e., Math, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) is desirable.
  • Technical aptitude for machines and computer programs.
  • Ability to keep records of all test activities.
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week and occasionally extra hours as needed.
  • Strong personal and professional accountability.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge and understanding of gaming regulatory requirements.
  • Experience executing test scripts.
  • Understanding of math, statistics, and game specifications.
