About the position

The QA Tester II is responsible for testing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality from a customer perspective in both lab and production settings. This role involves creating test plans, executing manual and automated test cases, managing defects, and providing status reports, all while adhering to established client processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Create test plans based on business and functional requirements
• Create test cases to client specifications
• Execute manual and automated test cases
• Manage and triage defects
• Troubleshoot issues experienced during testing
• Provide daily and weekly status reporting
• Understand requirements for testing
• Follow written and verbal instructions from the client and leads
• Use JIRA for test case management, creation, and execution
• Use Quality Center for test case management, creation, and execution
• Archive all test documentation as directed
• Work onsite for deployments as required
• Conduct international roaming testing
• Conduct domestic roaming testing remotely

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in QA testing
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems quickly and creatively
• Experience with client-server systems
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated and team player
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Understanding of common Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile/SCRUM

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of SOAP UI for test execution and SIM activation
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and process changes
