About the position

The QA Tester II is responsible for testing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality from a customer perspective. This role involves both manual and automated testing in lab and production environments, creating test plans and cases based on business requirements, and managing defects. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Create test plans based on business and functional requirements
• Create test cases to client specifications
• Execute manual and automated test cases
• Manage and triage defects
• Troubleshoot issues experienced during testing
• Provide daily and weekly status reporting
• Understand requirements for testing mobile devices
• Follow established client processes for reporting and testing
• Archive all test documentation as directed
• Work onsite for deployments as required
• Perform international and domestic roaming testing

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of experience in QA testing
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience with Jira for test case management
• Understanding of Quality Center for test case management
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated and team player
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile/SCRUM
• Experience with SOAP UI for test execution
