The position involves hands-on experience in both automated and manual testing to ensure the functionality of the system and the quality of features developed by the team. The role emphasizes the automation and maintenance of comprehensive test suites, utilizing a continuous improvement mindset. The candidate will work closely with sector leaders and engage in research on competitor state policies and programs, promoting teamwork and communication within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform automated and manual testing to cover system functionality.
- Automate and maintain comprehensive test suites with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Conduct automated end-to-end tests using frameworks and tools such as BDD, Selenium, and JavaScript.
- Utilize Azure Dev Ops (ADO) or equivalent tools for testing.
- Execute integration, performance, and load-bearing tests.
- Apply agile methodologies in testing processes.
- Translate business requirements into test cases.
- Communicate effectively with sector leaders on industry issues and initiatives.
- Conduct research on competitor state policies and programs.
- Promote teamwork and communication within the division and with external customers.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in automated and manual testing.
- Experience with automated end-to-end tests using BDD, Selenium, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in Azure Dev Ops (ADO) or equivalent tools.
- Experience with integration, performance, and load-bearing tests.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and its integration with Dynamics 365.
- Ability to translate business requirements into test cases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks independently.
