About the position

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a solid background in testing digital desktop software on Mac OS X. The role involves daily screening of customer feedback, gathering data on customer issues, and collaborating with team members to resolve these issues efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in software debugging, a good understanding of photo applications, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Screen customer feedback daily and gather data on customer issues.
• Verify reported issues in-house and assist in resolving them.
• Collaborate with QA and Marketing teams to address customer concerns.
• Isolate and perform regression testing on software applications.
• Maintain close working relationships with the development team for quick problem resolution.
• Produce thorough written documentation of progress and issues encountered.

Requirements

• Experience testing digital desktop software on Mac OS X.
• Thorough knowledge of Mac OS X and excellent debugging skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Equivalent professional experience of 3 or more years.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work directly with customers via email respectfully.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledgeable with photo software and digital still-image management.
• Familiarity with standard digital photo file formats such as JPEG and RAW.
• Experience with FileMaker Pro database and basic scripting.
• Understanding of SQA methodology and technical troubleshooting of software applications.
