About the position

The QA Tester will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of Glu Mobile's products by executing test cases, reporting defects, and verifying fixes. This position focuses on testing Android smartphone games and requires collaboration with various teams to maintain high standards of product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Black box testing on Android smartphone games
  • Troubleshoot, report, and follow up on all defects found
  • Work with other QA Testers, Engineering, Production and Customer Service teams closely
  • Provide post-launch support for all updates to assigned titles
  • Provide status updates on testing results as requested by QA Leads and Managers
  • Attend and participate in team meetings

Requirements

  • Must have 2+ years of QA testing experience preferably in a gaming environment
  • Mobile experience is a major plus, particularly on Android
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Additional language fluency/familiarity is a plus
