About the position
We are looking for a skilled QA Analyst with a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, particularly in relation to Quality Assurance (QA) practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in defining and executing tests, as well as a solid grasp of quality assurance principles and best practices. This role requires a self-sufficient individual who can drive all testing activities with minimal oversight. The candidate should have experience in various types of testing including functional, user interface, system integration, and non-functional testing, particularly in web development projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform and drive all testing activities with minimal oversight.
- Define and execute test cases based on requirements.
- Conduct functional, user interface, system integration, and non-functional testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Utilize testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Analyst on web development projects.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile concepts.
- Strong test definition and execution skills.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and best practices.
- Experience in functional, user interface, system integration, and non-functional testing.
Nice-to-haves
- Basic knowledge of any programming language.
- Intermediate to expert level JIRA experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience with REST, SOAP, and POSTMAN.
- Knowledge of HTML and internet technologies.
- Experience with user interface testing tools.
- Experience with performance testing tools, e.g., Jmeter.
- Experience with eCommerce projects.
- Experience with PIM System Changing tool.
- Experience with Playwright automation tool.
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools.
- Automation experience with Selenium and Protractor framework.
- Ability to understand the existing framework or create a new framework.
- JavaScript knowledge.
- Java experience.
