About the position

The QA Tester with TDM experience at Capgemini is responsible for gathering requirements and delivering test data for various applications to ensure efficient testing processes. This role involves setting up test data, implementing data masking logic, and automating manual test data processes, all while working with databases and cloud services. The position is integral to supporting the testing team by providing high-quality test data and ensuring compliance with data protection standards.

Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements and deliver test data for different applications for efficient testing.
  • Set up test data including creation of test users and test accounts.
  • Create golden test data to satisfy test data requirements for different applications.
  • Implement data masking logic for all PII fields in databases and files using Delphix.
  • Mask CSV files, SQL server databases, and Oracle databases.
  • Provision and maintain virtual databases using Delphix tool to accelerate data delivery.
  • Automate the manual test data process.
  • Test snowflake database and validate feed files generated in AWS S3.
  • Design and implement masking logic to mask sensitive information in feed files for vendors.
  • Create test plans and execute test cases in qTest.
  • Generate synthetic test data required for execution of test cases.

Requirements

  • Experience in test data management (TDM) and quality assurance testing.
  • Proficiency in using Delphix for data masking and virtual database provisioning.
  • Familiarity with snowflake database testing and AWS S3.
  • Ability to create and execute test plans and test cases in qTest.
  • Strong understanding of data protection and compliance standards.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with automation tools for test data processes.
  • Knowledge of additional database systems beyond SQL and Oracle.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
