About the position

The QA Tester position involves both automated and manual testing of software projects, specifically focusing on Set Top Box integration and testing. The role requires a self-driven individual who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of effective communication. The tester will be responsible for reviewing requirements, writing and updating test cases, troubleshooting defects, and analyzing test results across multiple mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct automated and manual testing for assigned projects.
• Review requirements and write/update test cases.
• Troubleshoot defects and analyze test results.
• Execute test cases and log defects.
• Triaging defects and testing on multiple mobile devices.
• Report status to Test Lead and Test Manager.
• Participate in test planning and testing activities for multiple projects.

Requirements

• Experience in software manual testing.
• Proficiency in test development and test planning.
• Strong communication skills for effective reporting.
• Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to testing.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with automated testing tools.
