About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. This role requires a strong understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with developers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure software meets specified requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Conduct performance testing and analyze results to ensure optimal application performance.
• Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand project scope and objectives.
• Utilize tools such as SOAP for API testing and Java for automated testing processes.
• Work within a DevOps environment to streamline testing processes and enhance continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test results, defects, and overall quality metrics.
• Provide feedback on usability and UI aspects of applications to improve user experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing roles.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and computer networking concepts.
• Experience with Azure cloud services is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in identifying issues.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of QA/QC best practices and methodologies is essential.
• Experience in requirements gathering and translating business needs into technical specifications is desirable.

• Experience with RESTful APIs (5 years required)
