About the position

The Senior QA Tester role involves engaging with various stakeholders to drive testing outcomes, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality testing artifacts. The position requires a deep understanding of the testing process and the ability to manage project deliverables effectively, ensuring that all testing phases are completed on time and meet the necessary standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage with a wide range of stakeholders to drive test outcomes.
• Mentor test analysts and junior members of the testing chapter.
• Develop and maintain expertise to support each system/project and Tribe.
• Ensure the team creates and maintains detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for each project and test phase.
• Ensure project deliverables are met and delivered on time for each project and test phase.
• Understand and execute the end-to-end test process, implementing quality recommendations in line with Test Chapter standards.
• Provide forecasted and actual test estimates to contribute to overall project planning timelines and resource requirements.
• Manage issues, defects, and observations in a timely manner.
• Attend steer co meetings to share enterprise-level test updates and escalations.
• Attend and chair team and business meetings to update on progress and status of work schedule and testing delivery.
• Create and cascade test artifacts.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes.
• Experience in mentoring junior team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.
