About the position

The QA Tester position at DataStaff, Inc. is a long-term contract role focused on supporting the SQS Services team during a significant migration project. This role is essential for ensuring the success of the migration to new tools, which impacts a large portion of the business. The contractor will help alleviate the workload of the existing team, allowing them to concentrate on ongoing projects while ensuring quality assurance throughout the migration process.

Responsibilities

• Support the SQS Migration project by focusing on quality assurance tasks.
• Collaborate with the SQS Services team to ensure successful migration to new tools.
• Develop and execute test cases for various IT business applications.
• Create reusable components in Tosca for regression testing.
• Refactor and maintain regression test scripts to ensure functionality.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in information systems application development with a focus on Software Quality Assurance methods, techniques, and tools.
• 5 years of hands-on experience with Tosca for functional test automation and framework-based scripting.
• 5 years of experience with PractiTest, ALM QC, Jira, or Octane for test case writing, test data management, test execution, and results reporting.
• 5 years of extensive scripting experience using modular-based scripting and object-oriented methodologies.
• 5 years of ability to customize code according to testing needs for various IT business applications.
• 5 years of experience creating Tosca reusable components and using them in regression test cases.
• 5 years of experience in refactoring and maintaining regression test scripts.
• 5 years of experience working in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
