About the position

The QA Tester position at Spectora involves ensuring the quality of the company's SaaS home inspection platform through both manual and automated testing. The role is primarily focused on manual testing initially, with opportunities to grow into automation using the Mabl tool. The QA Tester will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to maintain product quality and enhance testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing to ensure products and features perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines.
• Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Become a product expert and participate in the product development process to help surface potential issues before they happen.
• Continuously improve the testing process and suggest enhancements around efficiency and effectiveness.
• Create end-to-end (E2E) tests using the Mabl automation platform.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to understand user stories and their acceptance criteria.
• Communicate closely and proactively with Product and Engineering teams to help them understand the results of your test runs.
• Work with the Client Success team to log and reproduce user-reported bugs.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience as a QA Tester, preferably in the SaaS/software space.
• 1 or more years of experience with a record and play automation tool, preferably Mabl.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools and automated testing tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of Agile methodologies, developer courses or certificates.
