About the position

The QA Tester role involves both automated and manual testing of software projects, specifically focusing on Set Top Box integration. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate and report on testing activities while being adaptable and self-driven. The tester will be responsible for reviewing requirements, writing and updating test cases, troubleshooting defects, and analyzing test results across multiple mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform automated and manual testing of assigned projects.
• Review requirements and write/update test cases.
• Troubleshoot defects and analyze test results.
• Execute test cases and log defects.
• Triaging defects and testing on multiple mobile devices.
• Report status to Test Lead and Test Manager.
• Participate in test planning and testing activities for multiple projects.

Requirements

• Experience in software manual testing.
• Proficiency in test development and test planning.
• Strong communication skills for effective reporting.
• Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to testing.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with automated testing tools.
