About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. This position requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements gathering.
• Conduct system testing to identify defects and ensure software meets specified requirements.
• Utilize scripting skills to automate testing processes where applicable.
• Collaborate with development teams in a Scrum environment to enhance product quality.
• Document test results, report defects, and track issues using version control systems such as SVN.
• Analyze JSON data structures for validation during testing phases.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on testing processes and tools.
• Use tools like TestNG for managing test cases and reporting outcomes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks is highly desirable.
• Experience with system testing methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, is preferred.
• Knowledge of requirements gathering techniques to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Understanding of data formats such as JSON for effective data validation during tests.
• Experience with tools like rat for automated testing is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to vaticinate potential issues before they arise.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
