Our client is currently seeking a QA Testing Analyst: III (Senior) to join their team in a hybrid onsite capacity in Columbus, OH. This role is critical for ensuring the quality and integrity of software products through comprehensive testing strategies. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, integration, test casing, scripting, and execution of all testing activities to ensure proper coverage across multiple projects and systems. As a subject matter expert for a specific project or system, the QA Testing Analyst will work on projects of moderate to high complexity within one or more development environments. The QA Testing Analyst will engage in various responsibilities, including scheduling and leading test deliverables review sessions, collaborating with Business Systems Analysts (BSA) and Development teams to analyze and review business objectives and requirements, and ensuring they are testable. The role also involves actively participating in the review of architectural and technical design specifications, developing and maintaining test data, and conducting end-to-end testing flows. The analyst will utilize both manual and automated testing processes, report results, and run database queries to validate data within test scripts. In addition, the QA Testing Analyst will be responsible for updating test cases based on approved change requests, working with BSAs and Development teams on defect analysis and triage, and managing defects throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires creating test results and summary deliverables to ensure production implementation readiness, facilitating the review of the Test Strategy with the project team, and identifying potential quality issues to escalate to management. The analyst will also collect testing sign-offs from all participants, ensuring that all aspects of testing, including manual execution, regression, automation, and performance testing, are completed. Collaboration with the Project Test Lead on estimating test efforts and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts as needed is also a key part of this role.
