About the position

The QA Testing Senior at Huntington Bank is responsible for leading quality assurance activities across multiple platforms, focusing on System Integration Testing (SIT), Disaster Recovery (DR), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). This hybrid role involves developing test strategies and plans, executing test cases, and ensuring adherence to IT SDLC processes while collaborating with various technology teams. The position requires strong communication skills to report on testing status to project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in agile practices and ceremonies through scrum team planning sessions, user story refinement, daily status updates, and interaction with other scrum team leaders.
• Create Test Strategy/Plan Document for user stories and larger scale efforts (Feature(s)/Epic) working closely with Development team, SMEs, and Business to ensure full coverage of acceptance criteria.
• Responsible for the planning, integration, test casing, scripting, and execution of all testing to ensure proper coverage.
• Schedule and lead test deliverables review sessions as necessary.
• Work with business segment testers to support User Acceptance Testing, ensuring user criteria are clearly defined and testable, and that test data is available.
• Collaborate with scrum masters to build out test execution metrics and present them to leadership when requested.
• Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review, and user group meetings for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with BSA and Development teams in the analysis and review of business objectives and requirements to ensure requirements are testable.
• Develop, document, and maintain the test data, data validation, and end-to-end testing flows.
• Create test results and test summary deliverables to ensure production implementation readiness.
• Identify potential quality issues and escalate them to management immediately.
• Collect testing sign-off from all testing participants, including cross-impacted application teams.
• Ensure all aspects of testing, such as manual execution, regression, automation, and performance testing, are completed.
• Collaborate with Project Test Lead on estimating test efforts and support UAT efforts as needed.
• Maintain the regression test bed to meet changing requirements.
• Participate in off-hour production releases as needed.
• Support the project's warranty period as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years' experience scripting and QA testing, including understanding of the QA practice as it applies to the Agile lifecycle.
• 4+ years' experience analyzing data, troubleshooting data issues, and creating action plans to address data quality issues.
• 4+ years' experience with both manual and automated testing.

• Proficiency in using testing tools (ALM) and knowledge of common testing methods, terminology, and industry best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain system issues clearly and concisely to all levels of management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of data structures, data management practices, and various corporate security rules, legal and regulatory obligations such as PCI, SOX, or similar standards.
• Advanced knowledge of using software packages or tools for processing or displaying data.
