About the position

The QA Testing Senior at Huntington Bank is responsible for leading quality assurance activities across multiple platforms, focusing on System Integration Testing (SIT), Disaster Recovery (DR), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). This hybrid role involves developing test strategies and plans, executing test cases, and ensuring adherence to IT SDLC processes while collaborating with various technology teams. The position requires strong communication skills to report on testing status to project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in agile practices and ceremonies through scrum team planning sessions, user story refinement, daily status updates, and interaction with other scrum team leaders.
• Create Test Strategy/Plan Document for user stories and larger scale efforts (Feature(s)/Epic) in collaboration with Development team, SMEs, and Business.
• Plan, integrate, test case, script, and execute all testing to ensure proper coverage.
• Schedule and lead test deliverables review sessions as necessary.
• Support User Acceptance Testing by working with business segment testers and ensuring user criteria are clearly defined and testable.
• Build out test execution metrics and present them to leadership when requested.
• Actively participate in walk-throughs, inspections, reviews, and user group meetings for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with BSA and Development teams to analyze and review business objectives and requirements for testability.
• Develop, document, and maintain test data and end-to-end testing flows.
• Create test results and summary deliverables to ensure production implementation readiness.
• Facilitate review of the Test Strategy with the project team and escalate potential quality issues to management.
• Collect testing sign-off from all testing participants, including cross-impacted application teams.
• Ensure all aspects of testing, including manual execution, regression, automation, and performance testing, are completed.
• Collaborate with Project Test Lead on estimating test efforts and support UAT efforts as needed.
• Maintain the regression test bed to meet changing requirements.
• Participate in off-hour production releases as needed and support the project's warranty period.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years' experience scripting and QA testing, including understanding of the QA practice as it applies to the Agile lifecycle.
• 4+ years' experience analyzing data, troubleshooting data issues, and creating action plans to address data quality issues.
• 4+ years' experience with both manual and automated testing.

• Negotiation skills with the ability to influence others by information/knowledge sharing.
• Proficiency in using testing tools (ALM) and knowledge of common testing methods, terminology, and industry best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain system issues clearly to all levels of management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of data structures, data management practices, and corporate security rules.
