About the position
RK Pharma Inc. is seeking a QC Chemist to join our manufacturing and QA teams as we prepare for commercial manufacturing. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with quality standards and supporting the growth of our mid-stage start-up team focused on producing high-quality generic pharmaceutical products.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing documentation associated with production operations.
- Providing adequate levels of documentation that are acceptable and compliant to existing procedures and audits.
- Auditing production batch records to ensure adherence to policies, SOP, and cGMP requirements.
- Qualifying and validating manufacturing equipment to ensure that the equipment meets the user requirements.
- Supporting QA Management with department strategy, objectives, and goal setting, along with project prioritization activities.
- Establishing processes and procedures to ensure compliance and improvement to the Quality Management System (QMS).
Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemistry.
- At least 6 months of work experience performing routine manufacturing.
- Experience in record review in support of product match releases in accordance with specifications and SOPs.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements and cGMP.
