About the position

The QC Laboratory Technician role involves ensuring the quality of products through physical and chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process, and finished products. This position supports the manufacturing process by utilizing various laboratory techniques and adhering to established quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Analyze routine samples using laboratory techniques including HPLC and GC.
• Document all analytical data according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Escalate Out-of-Spec materials to the QC Lab Supervisor for review.
• Manage inventory of consumables such as HPLC columns and reference standards.
• Conduct routine troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Identify and implement process improvements in laboratory functions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with GC, HPLC, and other analytical techniques.
• Strong knowledge of chemical handling, use, storage, and disposal.
• Ability to work a rotating shift including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques, particularly HPLC and wet chemistry methods.
• Experience in microbiological analysis and lab equipment usage.
• Valid driver's license and current state-required vehicle insurance.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree (BS) or Associates Degree (AS) in a science field preferred.
