As the Quality Control / Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that rental properties are maintained to the highest standards. Your primary responsibilities will include performing thorough inspections of rental properties to verify that they are professionally cleaned and ready for guests. You will also be tasked with identifying any damage, troubleshooting various systems, and executing general maintenance repairs. This position requires you to travel regularly between rental properties located in the Truckee/North Lake Tahoe area, which may involve winter driving conditions. Therefore, it is essential that you have a reliable 4WD vehicle or a vehicle equipped with traction devices such as studded tires or chains. The ideal candidate will possess a tactical approach to planning their day, a solid understanding of property maintenance, and a keen attention to detail. A positive attitude is also essential, as you will be interacting with guests, homeowners, vendors, and coworkers to ensure that all assigned duties are completed professionally. The work schedule is typically a standard 5-day shift from 9:30 AM to 6 PM, with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break. However, due to the nature of the industry, you may be required to work weekends and holidays as needed. Your ability to adapt to changing conditions and work well under pressure will be critical to your success in this role.
