About the position
The QC Mechanical Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections on Clevis components at the Salem Nuclear Plant. This role requires a certified QC Mechanical Inspector with recent nuclear experience, specifically someone who has been badged within the last year. The position is contract-based and is expected to start immediately, with the project scheduled to complete by November 5, 2024.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections on Clevis components at the Salem Nuclear Plant.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulations.
- Document inspection results and report any discrepancies or issues found during inspections.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of inspections.
Requirements
- QC Mechanical certification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical inspection, particularly in a nuclear environment.
- Must have been badged within the last 365 days.
