About the position

The Quality Control Project Coordinator II at FDB is responsible for constructing, maintaining, and overseeing the Quality Control Testing Schedule, which includes release testing, stability testing, and method qualification activities. This role involves frequent communication with various departments to ensure that QC deadlines and milestones are met, and requires a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Construct and maintain a QC Master Schedule.
  • Assist in preparing QC metrics on a monthly basis.
  • Align QC Master Schedule to projected manufacturing schedules.
  • Generate POs for external testing.
  • Coordinate and monitor testing with Contract laboratories per timelines.
  • Update and confirm schedules and deadlines with customers.
  • Attend daily briefings and update as needed.
  • Lead team and department meetings.
  • Assist QC Director and QC Managers in overseeing and coordinating departmental training.
  • Work cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Project Management to establish timelines.
  • Provide technical suggestions to customers based on industry guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Associate's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to plan ahead.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments with little supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree in a scientific discipline.
  • GMP/GLP experience.
