About the position

As a QCS Field Service Engineer at Honeywell, you will be an integral part of a team recognized for its leadership, innovation, and commitment to diversity. Your primary responsibility will be to provide on-site technical support and expertise for our customers, ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Quality Control Systems (QCS) equipment at various customer sites. This role requires you to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service and support, ultimately impacting the efficiency and productivity of our customers' operations by ensuring the optimal performance of our QCS solutions. In this position, you will play a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction and building strong relationships with clients. You will report directly to the Field Service Manager and will work out of our Pennington, AL location on an on-site work schedule. Your contributions will not only enhance the operational capabilities of our customers but also foster a positive and productive work environment. Your day-to-day activities will include installing, configuring, and commissioning QCS equipment at customer sites, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of QCS systems, and providing technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of QCS solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation of service activities, including service reports and customer communication, ensuring that all interactions are well-documented and that customer needs are met promptly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and commission QCS equipment at customer sites
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of QCS systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of QCS solutions
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including service reports and customer communication

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in field service engineering or a related role
  • Knowledge of Quality Control Systems (QCS) and related equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Honeywell QCS solutions or similar systems
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to build positive relationships with customers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
