About the position

The QCS Systems Engineer at ABB plays a crucial role in supporting engineering activities across various project sizes and complexities. This position involves working under the guidance of senior engineers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently, adhering to contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies. The engineer will engage in data collection and assist in the production of engineering designs, contributing to the overall success of projects.

Responsibilities

• Performing survey work, standard computations, analysis, and basic design tasks.
• Exercising judgment on limited details of work and on application of standard methods.
• Preparing project documentation within the scope of deliverables.
• Assisting customers on technical issues and interacting with official contacts, contractors, and other staff.
• Supporting communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.
• Participating in workshops related to engineering design, tools, and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required; Paper Science or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of industrial/related experience required.
• Candidates must already have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
