About the position

The QE Mobile Automation position is a contract role focused on ensuring the quality of mobile applications through automation testing. The role requires a strong background in mobile automation, particularly with tools like Appium, and experience in testing both Android and iOS applications. The candidate will work closely with engineering and business teams to implement testing strategies and frameworks, contributing to the overall quality assurance process in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA efforts for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium and Selenium.
• Conduct API testing and automation using REST Assured.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Participate in Agile methodology with in-sprint automation.
• Utilize testing tools and frameworks effectively for performance and functional testing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Lead in web and mobile apps projects.
• Strong knowledge of testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, and TestNG.
• Hands-on experience in Java programming concepts.
• Experience testing Android and iOS applications.
• Proficient in GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, and Test Rail.
• Strong API manual testing and automation skills using REST Assured.

Nice-to-haves

• Performance testing with JMeter.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript.
