About the position

The Intensive In-Home Counselor position at Each One Teach One, LLC involves providing crisis-oriented counseling and case management to youths and their families. The role focuses on developing individualized service plans, fostering coping and communication skills, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care. This position requires a commitment to responding to family crises and maintaining accurate client records while participating in clinical supervision and case reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop quarterly and discharge reports.
• Provide intensive in-home, crisis-oriented counseling and case management to youths and their families.
• Work with clients to foster the development of new coping, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Develop individualized service plans in conjunction with referring agencies and stakeholders.
• Implement service plans and monitor client progress.
• Collaborate with LMHPs and Case Managers for continued client care.
• Educate family members about community services and advocate for their access.
• Respond to family crisis calls on a 24/7 basis.
• Maintain up-to-date client records and prepare necessary reports.
• Participate in clinical supervision sessions regularly.
• Conduct or participate in case reviews and staffing as required.

Requirements

• QMHP Certification
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Services, or related field
• 1 year of clinical experience with children or adolescents
• Ability to listen effectively and knowledge of child and adolescent development
• Knowledge of behavioral management techniques and crisis intervention strategies
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to maintain effective working relations.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in psychology or human services related field
• Registered Nurse (RN) License
