About the position
The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) - Adult position at Epic Health Partners involves providing essential services to individuals enrolled in the Mobile Crisis Program. This role focuses on delivering psychiatric assessments, medication management, and counseling, while also coordinating case management services. The QMHP will work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring effective communication and support for individuals in crisis.
Responsibilities
- Provide services to individuals in the Mobile Crisis program or Community Stabilization program.
- Coordinate psychiatric assessments, including medication management and medical examinations.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
- Develop Individual Service Plans (ISP) with program participants.
- Document daily notes and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate case management services as applicable.
- Maintain effective inter- and intra-agency working relationships.
- Promote calm and stable direction to individuals receiving services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Service Related field.
- Registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Qualified Mental Health Professional - Adult (QMHP-A).
- Valid Driver's License and current auto insurance.
- Current TB screening.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Successful completion of a criminal background and central registry check.
