About the position

The Qualification and Development Test Project Manager at Anduril Industries is responsible for leading and coordinating test campaigns for various product lines, ensuring that all testing is executed effectively and efficiently. This role involves working with an interdisciplinary team to conduct various types of testing, including static, dynamic, fatigue, thermal, and vibration tests. The manager will oversee test planning, site coordination, and schedule tracking, while also leading test readiness reviews and assisting in root cause analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Function as a member of an interdisciplinary team capable of executing static, dynamic, fatigue, thermal and vibration testing on all of Anduril's product lines
• Coordinate Qualification and Development Test campaigns for Designs Under Test ranging from small integrated electronics systems to whole aircraft fuselages
• Be the focal point for test planning, test site coordination, and schedule tracking
• Assist in defining and properly communicating instrumentation installation, data acquisition systems, Electrodynamic shaker operation, and associated equipment for vibration and shock testing
• Lead Test Readiness Reviews, assist in Root Cause Correct Actions (RCCA) as well as test reporting
• Travel to test sites as needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in a related engineering field
• 3+ years of professional project management experience
• Experience in an immersive interdisciplinary technical project
• Familiarity with CAD platforms and the ability to perform CAD spins, familiar with enterprise PLMs such as Teamcenter or 3DExperience
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 and the associated testing
• High competence with and fluid use of engineering first principles
• BS or MS in an engineering discipline
• U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with the VR family of shaker table controllers and associated software
• Demonstrated experience in qualification campaigns, and taking programs from cradle to grave
• Have previously lead test planning efforts, taking programs from prototype to Low Rate Initial Production and eventually Full Rate Production
• Experience in NX OR Solidworks & Teamcenter
• Knowledge of scripting language to develop automation. Python, Matlab, etc.
• Ability to integrate electronic components into mechanical designs (motors, controllers, sensors etc.)
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
