About the position

The Qualified Autism Services Practitioner Supervisor (QASP-S) will provide behavioral health services under the supervision of a QBA, BCBA, or ABA Program Director. This role focuses on program development, supervision of entry-level staff, and ensuring the delivery of safe, ethical, and competent services to clients. The QASP-S will also conduct assessments, monitor progress through data collection, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of care provided to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise entry-level staff through initial training and ongoing professional development.
  • Conduct Parent Trainings to educate and support families.
  • Provide a supportive environment and individualize fieldwork experiences to enhance provider skills.
  • Collaborate with professionals to design and implement comprehensive behavioral intervention plans.
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and review progress data to adjust interventions as needed.
  • Lead training sessions for new Autism Service Providers (ASPs) on ABA principles and documentation procedures.
  • Monitor adherence to ethical guidelines and program standards.
  • Maintain caseloads and communicate client progress to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field.
  • Current 'Qualified Autism Services Practitioner-Supervisor' (QASP-S) certification from a recognized credentialing body.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the field of ABA, including intervention development for children and adolescents.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience with BT or RBT preferred.
  • Experience in training, mentoring, and supporting a team in an intensive treatment environment.
