Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards.
  • Conduct tests and inspections of electrical systems to ensure proper functioning.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Direct and train other workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety policies, regulations, and standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an electrical worker.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and their components.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Relevant license and certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.
