About the position
The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) at Merakey is responsible for advocating for individuals with intellectual disabilities and ensuring that monitoring functions are completed effectively. This role involves managing a defined caseload, which includes traveling to various homes and day programs, acting as a liaison between the facility, families, and outside agencies, and providing supervision under the Social Services Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary advocate for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Ensure monitoring functions are completed appropriately.

- Act as the liaison between the facility, individual's family, and outside agencies.
- Provide supervision as directed by the Social Services Supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience working directly with persons with disabilities.
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of experience working directly with persons with disabilities.
- Valid driver's license.
