About the position

The Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) role at Interim HealthCare involves administering medications and providing daily care to residents in accordance with established procedures. This part-time position offers flexible shifts, allowing staff to choose their working hours while ensuring high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes integrity, creativity, and a commitment to supporting patients' needs.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications according to Colorado Department of Health QMAP training.
  • Provide routine daily care to residents as directed by the supervisor.
  • Practice safe administration of medications via multiple routes using written Physician orders.
  • Communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical individuals.
  • Observe patients and operate patient care equipment as necessary.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Qualified as a QMAP in the State of Colorado at the time of employment and maintain current qualification.
  • Valid CPR or BLS Healthcare provider card required.
  • Valid TB screening and proof of flu vaccination during flu season (October-March).
  • Pass criminal and abuse background checks as required by the State of Colorado.

Nice-to-haves
