About the position
The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) position at AOC Outreach Services focuses on providing essential mental health support to children, youth, and their families. The role involves engaging and coaching clients to enhance their functioning and well-being through goal-directed interventions. The QMHP will work closely with clients in child welfare, aiming to foster self-empowerment and resilience in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide a range of mental health services to children and youth in child welfare.
- Engage and support parents, children, and youth through coaching and interventions.
- Develop rapport with clients to optimize their functioning effectively.
- Complete daily session notes within 24 hours after each session.
- Deliver MHTCM and MH rehabilitative services as an RBT.
Requirements
- RBT Certification
- LMFT or equivalent mental health license
- QMHP Certification
- RN License or equivalent
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- APRN or LPC License
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health services.
