Amethyst Consulting & Treatment Solutions, PLLC is seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to join our team as a MST Therapist / Qualified Professional (QP) in our Multi-Systemic Therapy - Problem Sexual Behavior (MST-PSB) program. This full-time position is focused on providing family- and community-based therapy to youth aged 12 to 17 who exhibit serious antisocial behaviors and/or problem sexual behaviors, and who are at risk of being placed out of their homes. The therapist will work closely with families residing in Montgomery, Moore, Lee, Harnett, Hoke, Richard, and Anson counties in North Carolina. In this role, the Qualified Professional will manage a community-based caseload of up to 4-5 families, providing direct care to each family at least 3-4 times per week. The therapist will be responsible for developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each case. Regular ongoing assessments and reviews of treatment progress will be conducted, utilizing a specific problem-solving process to develop effective interventions. Engaging caregivers in intensive, action-oriented treatment is crucial, as the therapist will work to align on treatment goals and identify any barriers to engagement. Flexibility is key in this position, as the therapist will need to commit to a non-traditional schedule based around clients' availability. The role also requires engaging all key stakeholders to ensure participation, obtaining alignment on treatment goals, and collaborating on advancements and barriers towards these goals on a weekly basis. The therapist will be available to provide periodic on-call 24-hour coverage to families, responding to crisis calls and scheduling emergency sessions as needed. Documentation is an essential part of this role, and the therapist will maintain clear, concise, and timely records of all clinical session efforts to promote peer, supervisory, and consultant review and feedback. Active participation in required training, supervision, consultation, and clinician development planning is expected, including attending quarterly trainings, weekly supervision, and developing and following through on monthly clinician development plans. Building strong community relationships and resources to support families as part of treatment is also a critical responsibility. The therapist will be expected to meet clinical coverage expectations per family need and agency standards, while also performing other duties as assigned.
