About the position

The Qualitative Research Analyst at Bob Jones University will play a crucial role in supporting the mission of producing K-12 educational materials with a biblical worldview. This position involves developing and implementing qualitative research projects, primarily focusing on conducting in-depth interviews and moderating focus groups. The analyst will utilize strong analytical and interpersonal skills to gather insights that inform product development and revisions.

Responsibilities

• Moderating focus groups and conducting in-depth interviews
• Planning research design and implementation, including preparing discussion guides and screeners
• Maintaining analysis, interpretation, and reporting process for qualitative research
• Preparing and presenting findings reports, including recommendations for product revisions
• Recommending courses of action for quantitative research studies based on findings from qualitative research
• Handling logistics for qualitative research projects - recruiting, facility reservation and interaction, payment, etc.
• Maintaining comprehensive notes and assisting with recording and transcription
• Assisting as needed in quantitative research studies
• Staying abreast of latest issues and trends in marketing research and in education
• Being aware of competitors in the marketplace
