About the position

The Document Specialist/Project Coordinator will support the Strategic Asset Management Group by reviewing Facility and Property Condition Assessment (FCA/PCA) reports to ensure data consistency and accuracy. This role involves reformatting reports in Microsoft Word, performing quality control reviews, and managing data in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple reports efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Review Facility and Property Condition Assessment (FCA/PCA) reports for data consistency and accuracy.
  • Reformat reports in Microsoft Word and perform quality control reviews on grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Update and format data in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
  • Cross-reference data with the verbiage, data tables, and graphs in Word documents.
  • Manage quality assurance of client requirements.
  • Review an average of 30-40 reports per month.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in English/Journalism.
  • 0-2 years of experience in Word processing, advanced filing, and document control, preferably within the construction/facilities space.
  • Strong communication skills and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Ability to meet hard deadlines and demonstrate reliability.
