About the position

The Quality Analyst I position at IFF's Flavor Quality Control team involves ensuring that finished and raw materials meet IFF specifications through analytical testing. The role includes performing wet chemistry analyses, sample preparation, data acquisition, interpretation, and reporting to support production processes.

Responsibilities

• Calibrating and working with analytical equipment daily, including density meter, refractometer, pH meter, and others.
• Performing tests on finished and raw materials and reporting results.
• Preparing samples, acquiring data, and interpreting results.
• Assisting with the investigation of internal and external non-conformances.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry or a related science field.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of basic math and science.
• Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask within the lab to efficiently maintain lab workflow.
