About the position

The Quality Analyst III position at Voyatek involves developing and executing automated test cases, managing defects, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the quality of technology solutions delivered to public sector agencies and higher education institutions. This role emphasizes both manual and automated testing methodologies, requiring extensive experience in functional testing techniques and a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute automated test cases, record test results, and manage defects identified during testing.
  • Utilize Microsoft Test Manager/Azure Test Plans and Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps for accurate test metrics and progress reporting.
  • Create and execute SQL queries to validate data and data transformations.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and various stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
  • Work with automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, Katalon, Tosca, TestNG framework, and/or Java.
  • Implement end-to-end testing processes from design analysis to execution and defect management.
  • Conduct manual testing including System Testing, E2E Testing, System Integration Testing, and Regression Testing.
  • Participate in both agile and waterfall methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 8+ years of experience in functional testing techniques including System Testing, System Integration Testing, and Regression Testing.
  • 8+ years of experience testing applications with multiple integrations and large databases.
  • 8+ years of experience writing and executing SQL queries.
  • 8+ years of experience using TFS, Azure DevOps, Jira, ClearQuest, or similar test management tools.
  • Experience with automation test tools such as Selenium, QTP, Katalon, TestNG Framework, and/or Tosca.
  • Proven ability to work with subject matter experts and clients to develop test cases and scenarios.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
