About the position

The Quality Analyst role is focused on ensuring the quality and performance of web applications through various testing methodologies and automation frameworks. The position involves collaboration with engineering teams and stakeholders to develop effective test strategies, manage testing projects, and optimize CI/CD pipelines. This hybrid role is based in Washington, DC, and requires local candidates to facilitate collaboration and project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Cypress-based and Selenium test automation frameworks for web applications.
  • Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate application deployment and testing processes.
  • Set up local workspace using Maven, TestNG, and Eclipse, and manage version control using GitHub.
  • Work with AWS services to configure and manage test environments.
  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman for RESTful web services.
  • Work with web technologies such as JavaScript, XML, XPATH, HTML, JSON, and CSS.
  • Collaborate with peers and engineering teams for successful project delivery and customer support.
  • Manage Mobile, UI/Test Automation, Enterprise Applications, eLearning, and Advanced testing.
  • Test and automate Drupal APIs and modules to address specific project needs.
  • Plan and execute tests for multiple testing projects in client-server and web applications, core operating systems features, web services, and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design effective test strategies.
  • Follow best practices for test case development, code standards, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather functional requirements and translate them into test case specifications.
  • Apply scrum methodologies to produce high-quality work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer application or equivalent.
  • Experience with Drupal content management.
  • Proficiency in developing test automation frameworks using Cypress and Selenium.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with Maven, TestNG, and Eclipse for local workspace setup.
  • Knowledge of version control using GitHub.
  • Experience with AWS services for test environment management.
  • Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman.
  • Familiarity with web technologies including JavaScript, XML, XPATH, HTML, JSON, and CSS.
