We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our team as a Quality Analyst (POS) within the Punchh division of PAR Technology. As a Quality Analyst for Point of Sale systems, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of software and hardware components used in these systems. You will contribute to overarching test strategy design and planning, creating test cases for certification and verification that will cover implementation for in-store loyalty engagements. Additionally, you will manage the test lab and repository of test data, setting up, organizing, maintaining, and managing the multi-device testing laboratory. You will also maintain the test repository on Jira/Zephyr, providing 100% test coverage across applicable testing types—functional and non-functional, E2E, etc. Furthermore, you will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and consistency of product knowledge across multiple domains.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of software and hardware components used in Point of Sale systems.
  • Contribute to overarching test strategy design and planning.
  • Create test cases for certification and verification covering implementation for in-store loyalty engagements.
  • Manage the test lab and repository of test data.
  • Set up, organize, maintain, and manage the multi-device testing laboratory.
  • Maintain the test repository on Jira/Zephyr providing 100% test coverage across applicable testing types.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and consistency of product knowledge across multiple domains.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • 3 years of experience as a Software QA Engineer.
  • 3 years of experience working in an Agile environment performing API testing using Postman.
  • Experience performing functional testing, UI testing, performance, and security testing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred exposure working with Point of Sales Systems (POS).
  • Preferred QA Testing Automation Skills.
