Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Quality Analyst/Principal Quality Analyst to support the Sentinel program. This position will be located in Roy, Utah or Ogden, Utah. The selected candidate will support MA functions to ensure mission success, performing technical reviews of all Sentinel drawings, SOW's, and Requirements documents as required. The role involves assuring quality, risk management, safety, reliability, and maintainability of Sentinel achievements, assessing GBSD performance and risks, and determining resources to ensure mission assurance. Additionally, the candidate will assist Program Managers with all GBSD Mission Assurance/Program Management requirements, develop and maintain Sentinel Program Quality Plans, and support Sentinel program FRBs ensuring identification of root cause and proper implementation of corrective actions. The position also includes monitoring timely closure of Conditionally Accepted hardware and working corrective actions with IPT MA & QEs, as well as supporting operational activities with product inspection plans and acceptance.

Responsibilities

  • Support MA functions to ensure mission success.
  • Perform technical reviews of all Sentinel drawings, SOW's, and Requirements documents as required.
  • Assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability, and maintainability of Sentinel achievements.
  • Assess GBSD performance and risks and determine resources to ensure mission assurance.
  • Assist Program Managers with all GBSD Mission Assurance/Program Management requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Sentinel Program Quality Plans.
  • Support Sentinel program FRBs ensuring identification of root cause and proper implementation of corrective actions.
  • Assist PQM in preparation and execution of Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB).
  • Develop and maintain Sentinel Program Metrics.
  • Support PQM with Sentinel Customer Corrective Action Requests.
  • Support IPT MA & QE in Conditional Acceptance requirements and flow down.
  • Monitor timely closure of Conditionally Accepted hardware and work corrective actions with IPT MA & QEs.
  • Support operational activities with product inspection plans and acceptance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of quality/inspecting/manufacturing experience; or a Master's degree and 1 year of quality/inspecting/manufacturing experience. 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree for Quality Analyst (A02).
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of quality/inspecting/manufacturing experience; or a master's degree and 4 years of quality/inspecting/manufacturing experience. 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree for Principal Quality Analyst (A03).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret (S) security clearance.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Inspections.
  • Experience with Quality Tools Systems (MES, SAP, etc.) to support program processes, audits, and improvement.
  • Experience with manufacturing, quality controls, inspection and/or non-conformance controls.
  • Experience with root cause corrective actions (RCCA).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Material Review Board (MRB) processes.
  • Prior manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of Engineering Drawings, Engineering Specifications, and manufacturing processing.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following: Mil-Std, J-STD, IPC inspection, and assembly criteria.
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining metrics.
