About the position

The Quality Analyst/Principal Quality Analyst role at Northrop Grumman involves supporting the Sentinel Team in Roy, Utah, focusing on mission assurance and quality management. The position requires technical reviews, risk management, and the development of quality plans to ensure the success of the Sentinel program. The role emphasizes collaboration with program managers and quality engineers to address performance issues and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Support MA functions to ensure mission success.
  • Conduct technical reviews of Sentinel drawings, SOW's, and requirements documents.
  • Perform quality assurance, risk management, safety, reliability, and maintainability assessments of Sentinel achievements.
  • Assess GBSD performance and risks, determining necessary resources for mission assurance.
  • Assist Program Managers with GBSD Mission Assurance and Program Management requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Sentinel Program Quality Plans.
  • Support Sentinel program FRBs by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Assist PQM in the preparation and execution of the Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB).
  • Develop and maintain Sentinel Program Metrics.
  • Support PQM with Sentinel Customer Corrective Action Requests.
  • Support IPT MA & QE in Conditional Acceptance requirements and flow down.
  • Monitor timely closure of Conditionally Accepted hardware and work on corrective actions with IPT MA & QEs.
  • Support operational activities with product inspection plans and acceptance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience or a Master's degree with 0 years of experience for Quality Analyst; additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience, Master's degree with 3 years of related experience, or PhD with 1 year of experience for Principal Quality Analyst; additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with a re-investigation date occurring in the last 5 years.
  • Experience in developing and implementing Mission Assurance or Quality Assurance plans and/or Inspection Plans.
  • Experience with quality management systems to support program processes, audits, and/or improvement.
  • Experience with manufacturing and/or test labs quality assurance processes.
  • Experience with root cause corrective actions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in ICBMs or Aerospace programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
