About the position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated and driven Senior Quality Analyst to support the PAC-3 Missile and Launcher Sustainment programs in Arlington, TX. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product sustainment process, providing technical support for investigations, and driving corrective actions to enhance product quality. The position requires a proactive individual who can work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, focusing on delivering innovative solutions for both domestic and international customers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Subcontracting, Program Management, suppliers, and customers to ensure quality standards are implemented and met throughout the product sustainment process.
  • Provide technical data in support of engineering investigations.
  • Support root cause and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to very complex.
  • Perform data integrity reviews and investigations.
  • Contribute to Corrective Action Board meetings focusing on improvements and corrections.
  • Drive closure to nonconformance reports.
  • Provide technical liaison support related to quality engineering matters.
  • Engage in product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventive action.
  • Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements.
  • Work closely with both Internal and External Customers to ensure adequate acceptance of product.
  • Travel to required inspection or delivery locations, ranging from day trips to multiple weeks (10+) up to 50%+.
  • Perform inspection of fielded hardware, document findings both written and visually, and review documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher and/or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Previous quality experience in developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques.
  • Thorough understanding of engineering requirements and inspection methods.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material (Material Review Board).
  • Experience solving complex problems associated with the quality of products and in Quality Management processes, capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience working with Government customers.
  • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and all other stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel to required inspection or delivery locations, ranging from day trips to multiple weeks (10+) up to 50%+.
  • Ability to obtain a passport and a secret security clearance.

  • STEM degree at bachelor's level or higher preferred.
  • Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification or ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA).
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SAP / ERP, SharePoint, and Tableau or other business intelligence software.
  • Strong familiarity with Production Operations.
  • Experience with Program Office / Customer Interaction, preferably DOD.
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience with source inspection and surveillance activities at suppliers (including acceptance of product/testing).
  • Thorough understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems as well as AS9145 Advanced Product Quality Planning.
  • Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment.
  • Earned Value Management System Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM) certification.
  • Familiarity with requirements for handling and control of Government Furnished Equipment / Property during field, ground, or operational tests.
