About the position

The Quality Analyst Systems & Compliance position at Perrigo is responsible for conducting internal audits related to Quality, Food Safety, Operations, and Maintenance at the Eau Claire factory. This role involves managing compliance with various regulatory standards and internal procedures, overseeing the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system, and coordinating mock recall and traceability programs. The position emphasizes continuous improvement and effective communication with process owners and audit teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal audits of Quality, Food Safety, Operations, and Maintenance systems.
  • Administer the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system.
  • Manage the facilities mock recall program and traceability program.
  • Plan audits and effectively utilize resources.
  • Organize and direct audit teams, providing guidance and direction.
  • Develop and maintain training material for the CAPA system and mock recall program.
  • Train and coach team members on systems and procedures.
  • Review corrective and preventive action incidents and verify effectiveness of actions taken.
  • Maintain corrective and preventive action records in Trackwise program.
  • Identify and communicate trends in non-conformances to process owners and Quality team members.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to schedule and facilitate audits.
  • Summarize and present audit findings to process owners and management.
  • Represent the factory during external audits of management systems.
  • Train key personnel on performing mock recalls and traceability tasks.
  • Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices and related procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related Quality experience in a regulated food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and audit background.
  • Experience with 21 CFR 117, lean manufacturing, FSSC22000/SQF regulations, and preferred experience with 21 CFR 106/107 and 21 CFR 113.
