About the position

The Quality Analyst position focuses on ensuring the quality of software products through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes. The role requires extensive experience in software quality assurance, particularly with Azure Data Bricks, and involves analyzing requirements, creating test cases, and executing tests to ensure product reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create test cases based on specifications.
• Execute test cases and track defects using testing tools.
• Perform backend testing using databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
• Write SQL queries to validate data and test outcomes.
• Test Microsoft Azure solutions and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Log bugs and manage test cases in Azure DevOps.
• Set up test data and execute batch jobs for testing purposes.
• Utilize HP Quality Center for test management and defect tracking.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) position.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing, including test execution and data setup.
• Minimum 3 years of experience analyzing requirements and creating test cases.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with testing tools for creating and executing test cases, tracking defects, and performing requirements coverage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in backend testing using SQL Server or Oracle databases.
• Minimum 3 years of experience writing SQL queries.
• Minimum 1 year of experience testing Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Minimum 1 year of experience writing Python code.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of experience writing test cases and logging bugs in Azure DevOps.
• 2 years of experience in setting up test data and executing batch jobs.
• 1 year of experience with HP Quality Center.
