About the position

The Quality Analyst will provide quality assurance support to the operations team, focusing on resolving bugs, defects, and ensuring that products meet customer specifications. This role involves supporting Quality Management Systems across various departments, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with ISO and IATF standards. The Quality Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet quality objectives and manage risks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality assurance support to the operations team.
  • Resolve bugs, defects, and other potential issues to ensure products meet customer specifications.
  • Support Quality Management Systems for assembly, machine shop, engineering, and quality areas.
  • Solve problems related to on-time delivery, customer concerns, and first-time quality failures through observation, lean tools, and data analysis.
  • Validate routing changes for accuracy and timely completion.
  • Serve as the ISO and/or IATF Process Owner, ensuring processes align with standards.
  • Facilitate corrective actions and ensure new processes adhere to quality standards.
  • Perform calibration on measuring devices and support internal audits as an audit team member.
  • Develop and maintain company inspection reports.
  • Inspect goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure test equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.
  • Report quality anomalies to the supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years' experience in a related field.
  • Strong communication and interaction skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of or ability to quickly learn the organization's production processes.
  • Excellent teamwork, collaboration, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to pass and maintain a clear background and negative drug test.

Nice-to-haves

  • Computer proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
  • Two years of related experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Quality experience is a plus.
