About the position

Software Implementation Quality Analyst Overview: VisualVault is a Global Enterprise SaaS platform that leads the industry in high-volume, multi-tenant business process automation. As a Quality Analyst at VisualVault, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Working closely with our Implementation Services team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing manual functional tests, debugging defects, and defining corrective actions. You will collaborate with the Scrum team to review requirements, provide timely feedback, estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement manual functional tests, debug defects, and define corrective actions.
  • Assign, supervise, and evaluate the performance of appropriate internal and external resources for the testing, documentation, and research of relevant issues.
  • Review requirements with the Scrum team to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing features to meet requirements.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in software testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance, especially web applications.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Working experience in Jira.
  • Adept with agile software development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of full system life cycles.
  • Automated or manual testing experience in web and client-server environments.
  • Development experience in test scripts, execution, and reporting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of quality assurance practices and tools.
  • Experience with structured test methodology and use cases.
  • Experience in developing automated test cases.
  • Strong working knowledge in SQL.
